The Madrid game was part of the NFLs multi-pronged approach to further push American football into the global stage—Production Club was at the spearhead. Our choice of Bizarrap for the halftime show brought a fresh sound to the fanbase while special guest Daddy Yankee provided a familiar face and star quality performance.
Since the arrangement of Bizarrap’s opening halftime track called for a big band with a full brass section and percussion—a core feature of the production design would include a horizontally elongated stage to highlight their presence. Visuals for Bizarrap branding were made custom by Production Club. As for Daddy Yankee’s appearance, we designed a multi-tiered DJ booth which would allow both Biza and Daddy to be elevated and lowered throughout different parts of the song structure.
