At ComplexCon 2024, we had the opportunity to design three stages that reflected the unique energy of the festival. From high-energy performances to insightful conversations, each stage was crafted to enhance the experience and connect with the audience in its own way.
Main Stage
The Main Stage hosted some of the festival's most anticipated performances, including Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. We focused on creating an environment that amplified the energy of their sets, using expansive LED displays, dynamic lighting, and a powerful sound system. The design allowed for seamless transitions between acts while maintaining a cohesive visual experience.
It wasn't about overloading the senses, but about creating a space where music and visuals came together to captivate the audience.
Conversation Stage
Pigeons and Planes Stage
The Pigeons and Planes Stage was a celebration of rhythm and movement, with performances by artists like Uncle Waffles and Spinall. Elevated platforms, vibrant lighting, and striking visual effects turned this stage into a lively hub for festival-goers. Its open design encouraged interaction and kept the energy flowing, while the audio setup ensured every beat hit just right. It was more than a stage — it was a pulse that kept the festival alive.
Through these three stages, we aimed to enhance what makes ComplexCon so special: a fusion of music, culture, and creativity. Each stage offered its own experience, contributing to a festival that felt as dynamic and diverse as its audience.
