re:Play returns to the Festival Grounds, bridging tech with unforgettable experiences, creating a cinematic night.

Attendees were immersed in a high-energy, playful experience anchored by a single main stage featuring Emo Nite, Beck, and Kaskade. Beyond the music, the atmosphere encouraged guests to let loose and explore—racing in 40 Yard Dashers, taking aim in AWS Invaders, gliding through the Roller Rink, or diving into larger-than-life games and interactive installations. Whether chasing adrenaline or embracing nostalgia, every corner of the event was designed to spark connection, movement, and pure, uninhibited fun.
Entry Design

re:Play 2025 required an arrival moment that immediately shifted energy. We explored multiple structural approaches and form languages before landing on a system that balanced impact with efficiency. We landed on utilizing a diagonal lattice structure. What reads as a dense LED installation is actually UV light activating phosphorescent-coated poles, creating a vivid, electric glow without the cost and complexity of traditional LED builds.
The goal was to design an entry that felt immersive from the first step inside. The lattice framework became both a structure and light canvas… rhythmic, modular, and scalable across the event. An entrance soundtrack by Adam Johansen completed the experience. Sound, light, and structure were choreographed to build anticipation and mark the transition into the world that is re:Play.

In the Vegas Festival Grounds, re:Play transformed into a kinetic playground for grown-up technologists. A fully interactive world of oversized competition and spectacle. From piloting cars through RC Washers and operating The Hand of Man to sprinting against dinosaurs in 40 Yard Dashers and launching projectiles in AWS Invaders, every zone invited participation. The massive inflatable Gigantor Slide, a nostalgic 1950s-style Roller Rink, and a casual Playground filled with classic games rounded out the experience.
All this blending scale, humor, and high-energy interaction into one cohesive, immersive environment.

40 Yard Dashers challenged attendees to sprint against unexpected opponents, from a T-Rex to a hummingbird they were racing animated projections that turned speed into spectacle.

AWS Invaders armed players with ball launchers to take down moving alien targets, blending carnival energy with an old school arcade aesthetic.

RC Washers, guests piloted remote-control cars through a playful car-wash course, weaving through oversized brushes and themed obstacles in fast, chaotic laps.

Roller Rink rolled the vibe back to the 1950s, inviting hundreds at a time to lace up and glide beneath a disco ball.

The Giant Inflatable Slide towered over the festival grounds. Guests climbed to the top before launching down the massive inflatable structure, transforming the space into an oversized playground.

The Hand of Man towered above the crowd. A massive industrial metal hand that participants controlled to grab, drop, smash, and squish oversized cars below in a satisfyingly destructive display.

The Playground was the casual zone packed with oversized classics like cornhole and tic-tac-toe, offering moments to reset, compete, and connect.

Type Twisters storms in louder and wilder, throwing teams of three onto massive, oversized keyboards where every word becomes a race of coordination and chaos… hands flying, bodies leaning, letters slamming into place.
