‘The Rise and the Fall of the Mainframe’ animated short
For the kickoff party at Amazon Web Services’ re:Invent conference in 2017 we created a short mockumentary on the rise and fall of mainframe computers, adding a shot of humor to a technically-inclined brand and event. That funny business took serious work, from writing and research to interviewing real-life tech legends and hand-drawing the animated mainframe that served as the movie’s lead.
