On Sunday February 12, 2023 Super Bowl LVII took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Production Club worked directly with the NFL and in coordination with FOX broadcast to create memorable and high-impact moments for the Player Introductions Sequence, the newly debuted Vince Lombardi Trophy moment prior to kick-off, the opening DJ performance by DJ Snake, as well as handling logistics for the celebrity coin toss and Walter Payton Man of the Year segments.
The Player Intros featured multiple looks as teams walked through the tunnel to a laser backdrop as their logos and colors washed the full walk. In collaboration with an indigenous Native American artist and native Arizonan, Production Club designed custom scenic field carts complimented by LED visuals, lighting and SFX to create an aesthetic that authentically represented the people and culture of the region.
All Access fabricated these custom rolling carts and provided the ribbon lifts for the AFC and NFC intros. In addition, PRG provided both lighting and video components on these carts which also featured platforms for both the cheerleaders and an exclusive on-field fan experience that put VIP fans just feet away from the players as they paraded onto the field. All SFX including CO2, lasers, and a massive rooftop fireworks display was provided by Pyrotecnico.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year ceremony honored the most charitable players in the league this season. Surrounded by a lineup of the nominated players from across the league, our mid-field custom stage adorned the annual trophy bearing Payton’s name. Up next at mid-field was the all important coin toss, honoring the Pat Tillman Scholars.
Under direction of the NFL, Production Club produced a new pregame ceremony just moments before kickoff, honoring the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the south end zone. This segment featured former champion and Super Bowl MVP, Doug Williams, as well as legends from both the Chiefs and the Eagles, all culminating with a grand moment of pyro and fireworks provided once again by Pyrotecnico, a spectacular way to transition into the kickoff and the start of Super Bowl LVII.
The pregame opened with the Celebrity DJ performance by DJ Snake, He played a multi-genre set on the custom designed rolling DJ stage on the field, as live camera-filtered looks and SBLVII branded visuals were displayed on the LED screens in the end zone and on the ribbons operated by Production Club’s VJ team throughout the stadium.
DJ Snake played his stadium anthem “Turn Down For What” as the Kansas City Chiefs players took the field for warmups. Then moments later the Philadelphia Eagles were energized by their anthem “Just Wanna Rock” with Lil Uzi Vert in attendance.
The coin toss, which featured the Pat Tillman Foundation, was a truly special moment. With Production Club's expert guidance, the ceremony was a moving tribute to the memory of Pat Tillman, and a reminder of the values that he stood for.
Thanks to Production Club's expert guidance and unparalleled creativity, Super Bowl LVII was a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you were there in person or watching from home, the excitement and energy of the game was palpable, and every moment was crafted to perfection.
